The Wilbur K. Kraybill Academic Advising Center is staffed by professional Division of Undergraduate Studies (DUS) advisers. The advisers serve to provide information regarding academic policies and procedures, assist in developing short-term/long-term academic planning, and refer students to campus resources. The Center also coordinates New Student Orientation.
Altoona has a shared advising model. DUS advises students who are undecided on a major or are in transition from one major to another. Faculty advise students in a pre-major or major program.
It is recommended that students meet with their assigned adviser an average of one time per month to develop a relationship and explore academic and career goals.
If you are a student in DUS and would like to schedule an appointment with your adviser, please use Starfish, the online appointment system. If you are uncertain of the name of your adviser, you can find out by using LionPATH.
The Wilbur K. Kraybill Academic Advising Center is located in the E. Raymond Smith Building.
